Trekstor USA expands IBM partnership with new higher-capacity storage device
Trek's Thumbdrive technology basis for IBM 128 MB USB 2.0 Memory Key
SAN RAMON, Calif. (August 19, 2002) - Trekstor USA, Inc., announced today that that IBM® has again chosen TREK's ThumbDrive Smart™ mobile storage device technology to expand its Memory Key line. The new USB 2.0 IBM Memory Key is offered in a 128MB configuration along with security software that enables users to easily save secure and non-secure data. IBM's largest memory key yet stores up to 88 diskettes worth of information in a thumb-sized key. It allows the user to swap files between home and office or between multiple PCs. The security software enables the user to create a password protected area to store confidential files.
Trek manufactures the IBM 128MB USB 2.0 Memory Key option to IBM's design and product specifications using Trek's ThumbDrive Smart technology. IBM previously utilized ThumbDrive technology for the company's 32MB USB Memory Key.

The IBM 128MB USB 2.0 Memory Key is a pocketable and portable USB storage device that allows users to share data between notebook and desktop systems with a functional USB port-without the use of a floppy disk. Lightweight and compact , the IBM 128MB 2.0 Memory Key is bootable, does not require drivers with the latest operating systems and requires no software, batteries or external power supply.
This optional storage device is available for use with IBM's award-winning line of IBM ThinkPad and NetVista systems
